Scientist - 'C' (Medical Microbiology) : 03 Posts

Salary : Rs. 64,000 + HRA as applicable

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in Microbiology after MBBS. 

Maximum Age : 40 Years

Scientist - 'B' (Non Medical) : 03 Posts

Salary : Rs. 48,000 + HRA as applicable

Qualification :  1st Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology from a recognized University with two years’ experience in any laboratory

Maximum Age : 35 Years

Project Officer/ Section Officer : 04 Posts

Salary : Rs. 32,000/-

Qualification : Graduate in any discipline with 1 year experience of administration/finance and accounts work or engineering or any technical work

Maximum Age : 30 Years

Project Technical Assistant : 04 Posts 

Salary : Rs.31,000/-

Qualification : Graduate in science/engineering/IT from a recognized university with 1 year work experience.

Maximum Age : 30 Years

IT Manager/ Web Manager : 02 Posts

Salary : Rs.32,500/-

Qualification : Master's Degree or Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Computer application/ Information Technology/ Computer Science from a recognized Institution/University

Maximum Age : 30 Years

Senior Project Assistant/ UDC : 04 Posts

Salary : Rs. 17,000/-

Qualification : 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board with 2 years of experience of administrative work or Graduate in any discipline with 1 year experience of administrative work.

Multi Tasking Staff : 04 Posts

Salary : Rs. 15,800/-

Qualification : High School or equivalent from a recognized Board

Maximum Age : 25 Years

Procedure of Recruitment :-

1. Candidates meeting the age criteria and possessing the required qualifications, experience, etc. and willing to apply may fill the Application Form in the prescribed format only and send it to the email id: recruitment.nimr.icmr@gmail.com on or before the last date and time of receipt of applications as mentioned above. There is no need to send any documents with the Application Form. 

2. The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the website of NIMR and these candidates will be called for interview/personal discussion. 

3. In the event of more than 30 eligible candidates available for a post, a written test will be held followed by personal discussions otherwise direct personal discussions will be held. 

4. Keeping in view of the lockdown and non availability of Transport Services due to COVID-19, the interview/personal discussion will be conducted through Skype/video call. 

5. The candidates living in close proximity to the Institute and able to manage their own transport may also attend the interview through walk in as per date and time allotted. 

6. Candidates have to submit the duly self attested copies of proof of their age, educational qualifications, experiences, testimonials etc. at the time of joining, if selected. 

7. Selected candidates have to bring all the documents as mentioned above in Original while joining.
